Motor mounts?

I had a friend of mine message me on my car club forums saying this:

I have a motor mounts downstairs to put a 302-351 into a '85 and up Ranger/BII, how much different is a '92 Exploder?

so I ask you. would they work?

will work yes

You may have to drill a hole but the engine cradle is the same for the 2.8L. 2.9L and 4.0L for th emost part

He likely has Mustang covertible mounts, the same thing James Duff sells as engine conversion mounts, they are just flipped left to right

Should work for Ranger, BII explorer up to 1994

L&L makes some decent solid engine mounts for the 5.0L conversion as well
Its no secret that Mustang mounts will work, in fact they bolt up...sometimes you have to drill a hole
