I need some help in the swap I'm trying to finish up and get my wife off of my rear. So any help is greatly appreciated. I took the good 4.0 from my 91 and put in the 93 I purchased last year. I'm having some issues with the harness though. I used the manifolds in the 93 and swapped the upper intake. There is a 3 wire plug that comes off the DIS that I can't find a place for. Everything else has been pretty simple until this. Dose this plug have to be used? Or can I just leave it hanging? Thanks for any help, Bailey.

No one has run across this? Should I just try and swap the harness and ECM? any suggestions? Thanks Bailey.

putting a 91 engine into a 93 truck you should have used all the intakes/sensors/wiring,. etc from the 93 engine

The 93 has a cam position sensor (some of the later 93's do) the 91 did not, so this could get tricky, you should remove the cam position sensor from the 93 block and fit it into the 91 block, this is likely the plug you are looking at. this is not going to be easy with the engine in the truck, especially if the upper intake is already installed.

Thanks for the reply. It is also impossible to install, being there is no hole in the 91's block for it. Thanks again, Bailey
