Mounty Mods?

So I know this isn't the place but you were helpful with the mountaineer, and I don't think I can just transfer the plans over to the wagon. I looked for a sho engine already and I just don't think it will be worth it. I have $1500 to spend on making it look real nice on the outside. I already plan on getting rid of the roof rack and the trim strips and welding up the holes. That isn't going to take any money from the pot. next is a drivers side door for $150. I have to buy a rear view mirror because that thing flew off and cracked on impact. I really don't know where to find an aftermarket one that doesn't look ridiculous. Help there would be appreciated. I also need paint ideas. I was thinking two tone like what you see on old beetles metallic something with a large white strip of white in the concave area. I really don't know what color I want to do though. I don't have to pay for labor as i can do my own work, so i have everything of what is left to spend on paint. I kind of want to keep some to buy the sub mentioned previously in this thread. I guess now I can be really original when it comes to what I drive. I don't see any of these customized ever... for good reason I guess but this is what I have.

Does anyone know of a forum that covers modified taurus/sable vehicles?

im thinking lets make that thing a straight up PIMP mobile, like two tone white on top and candy blue on bottom, with some like 24's and a 302 in there

Holy ****! LOL! Would a 302 even fit? That would be awesome. But then again it would need to go rear wheel drive. Maybe that will be the last on my list.

It is hard to get the sho engines. They are pricey. The 302 would require a lot of fabrication if it was even possible. I will work on the outside first. I really have no idea what color it is going to be. I will try to draw something up or photoshop something. I am not sure.
