So I've found out that I have muddy bass in the backseat of my truck. Who knew, I sure as hell didn't. I have attributed this to the fact that since my sub is sitting right behind the passenger rear seat, the bass waves don't have time to fully extend. When I get a second Type-R sub, this is going to happen on both sides of the rear seats, and I want to avoid this. I plan on building a custom box nicely when I get that second sub, and I want to design it to not have that problem. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this? I was thinking of maybe having my ports fire towards the rear hatch, and deadening the living crap out of the plastic piece on the hatch.

Unfortunately, that's the only decent idea I had.
