I was curious as to where my factory amp is ?Also how hard is it to replace factory speakers?(planning to do so)

How big is the amp in terms of amps??

The factory amp is located in the rear cargo area behind the passenger side panel. I've heard that it is a pain in the A$$ to get to but I could be wrong. The speakers are fairly simple to replace, you'll just have to take off your door panels to do so. Once you take the panel off you'll see just how simple it is.

Yes the factory amp is a P.I.T.A. to get too, and their is actully two amps behind the panel... Replacing the door speakers is simple... The amp size its self is fairly small but if your asking the watts of it, sorry I dont know...
Have you replaced your Headunit? If not their is a wire jumper kit that you need to get to bypass the factory amp

It is fairly small, maybe 6x6, If you wanted physical size. My rough guess would be 80 watts total. You don't need to buy the kit if you are handy with wiring.

Yeah I replced the factory stereo is that a hu?? Anyways I put in a pioneer w/t a internal 50 watt amp and well I figured since the factory amp is bigger I'll just use it until I can make enough money to get an amp. Thanks for your help, and yes I can't even get into that panel where the amp is . oh well..
