I have a few questions...

Does anyone sync more than 1 mp3 player with MFT? I recall reading in one of the threads (but couldn't find it) it was mentioned that the first time you sync an mp3 player, it takes a while to synch up all your music, but in the future when you connect it, it's much quicker.

Our family has multiple Zunes (love them) and I was just wondering how it would work if we are constantly switching which ones connect when? Will it remember one than one device and still only take a long time to sync the first time? Or will it only remember the last one, and then take a long time when you connect a new one? If that's the case, we might just connect like we do now using the Zune's mini-plug and pick-up an RCA cable to connect it.

The original sync handled this just fine. My zune, an ipod, a hard drive, and a phone with MP3s on it.

EDIT-the biggest pain is when the song structure changes. It (the original) reindexes the whole device.

So does that mean every time I add new music to my Zune (or anyone else does - which is almost daily) it will re-index when it next connects? Ouch.

Uniquename - a related question....are you able to play video from your Zune to the dash display? I have assumed I would be able to do this, just not when the X is driving. Is that correct?

I have an 08 (no NAV) still, can't answer MFT questions :(

On your other question, yes...it re-indexed each time as I remember. I left a dedicated zune in my console.

if you have a composite cable (RED,WHITE,YELLOW RCA) then you can for sure play the video through the A/V input. I don't have a zune to test through the USB, but I believe that would require a composite connection anyway like the iPod does.
