Mustang to explorer 5.0 sp swap anyone done it?

Well since my 4.0 is already out of the truck, and it is just sitting, I had a dream the other night. My uncle has a totalled 89 lx hatchback stang, with the 5.0 5sp and lots of bolt ons. The car has sat about 2 years, but if you hit the key it fires right up. I want to swap in the whole motor, wiring harness, fuel injection, pedal assembly and tranny. Has anyone here done this before? The motorswap itself I think I can accomplish. The only thing is I have no experience with manual trans, cept the one in my tbird, which I have never had to work on. Any advice or pics would be greatly appreciated.

it has been done many many many many times into Rangers and Explorer's.
Many members on this forum have done 5.0L conversions

in my signature you can see I have a GT-40 5.0L EFI V8 (from 97 Mountaineer) drivetrain in my 88 BII, which had a 93 Explorer 4.0L before the conversion
