My 03 ford explorer will not start

I used it today to jump start my riding mower when I turned the explorer off every thing was fine I go to start the explorer again to move so I can cut my grass I get nothing. Everything else works inside it something kick on under the hood and the fuel pump kicks on but nothing to the starter. I'm going to look at the electrical tomorrow on it .but what is the main thing could it be

I would start by checking the alternator (generator) fuse in the fuse panel.

You may have enough voltage to run the accessories, but not enough to actuate the starter relay, so clean and re tighten the battery connections.

99% of the time jump starting is safe, but in that 1% remaining some damage may occur. Could be, if the engine was not running while you cranked on the mower you ran the battery down. Or, the alternator fuse blew and the mower sucked out all the juice.
