My 1994 Aerostar won't crank.

Hello everyone. I have a 1994 areostar 3.0 liter i was driving and it shu off, change the plugs wires distributor, all of it. Its getting gas just wont crank. It did this only when the air intake line was loose, but its all together now. Fuel shut off switch is in the down position. Im stuck

Welcome to this forum! Since it won't crank, did you check the starter, starter solenoid relay, and the fuses? Does it have an alarm system? Is the battery fully charged? How are the battery terminals?

Motor turns over good battery good alarm good, getting gas, new wires, plugs, distributor. New battery, motor was running excellent, it just shut off while driving.

What about the coil? Have you checked for fire there? Good luck with it!

That was the first to replace, all plugs and wires, new distributor, good pressure on gas, love the van its a 5 speed, maybe if i take out all the electrical and this intake and put a carb on it i bet she crank.

Earlier in the thread you said that it can't crank, then you said that the motor turns over. So what is the exact problem? When you turn the key, do you hear the starter turning the engine or is the starter spinning but the engine isn't moving? It might be a starter issue or a stripped flexplate.

Thanks it is spinning the engin, all things are a go, its not letting the air in to mix, thats what i can see.

Do you see the check engine light turn on when you turn on the electrical system before you crank the engine?
