Hi I just got my First Explorer it is a 1999 4DR 2nd Gen with the 5.0 302 V8
I haven't been this excited since my release date from prison last month. But I am making this Explorer a project for my son and I to build together. It is currently sitting on Jack stands because my brother was changing the fuel pump and someone stole the tank strap and it has been sitting for around a year now and and during that time someone tried to steal it so I also have to replace the column. They only tore up the ignition switch assembly but for $30 it was worth buying just to have a spare. But my brother just got locked up and his wife and I found the title after the transmission went out in Honda odyssey. So I am buying the Explorer from him and going to build it with my son whom is 8 years old and I've only met him twice. So this is my Exploration of my Explorer. I will post pictures of it later but wanted to get this up because I have learned a lot from this forum before I even registered. Any insight and positive criticism would be appreciated. Thank you guys.
