I got my 1st xplorer which is an '92 EB on 15.12.02 and as you can figure allready i'm new so if someone has the time to answer i'll really apreciate.

I have 13 mpg in city at ~40mph - thats 22l/100km for me and I think is too much, is this normal ? i spec that were -14C.

If I can get 17-18 mpg in the city i'll be happy ! is this possible ? (at least in summer)

I wander how much you guys pay for 1 gallon ? because i pay 0.67 usd/l = 3.04 usd/gal

Now the biggest question : did some one know any store that send items in ROMANIA (intake, exhaust ...) and/or someone have some usefull books about maintainance/repair for sale ? - thats because I don't trust the mechanics around here, they improvise too much, and when i'll have to do somethin to my car I want to know a little about it.

NOTE : excuse my english

Welcome to the site... Most aftermarket companies wont ship that far away... there are a few, but i am not sure of which ones off hand.... 14 MPG sounds about right... these explorers are gas hogs..... you can add a chip, high performance filter and and exhuast, that will help out the mpg a bit.. but a chip requires premium fuel :( in the area i live, we pay about $1.75 a gallon for the cheap gas, and this area i live in, is very high compared to the rest of the :us: ...

he is correct, 13-16 mpg is average for our trucks, just open up the intake and exhaust to improve it, as for gas, i pay 1.39$/gal now, last week it was 1.23$/gal

I've had some luck with www.4wheelparts.com.
Also www.summitracing.com

I had to contact a person directly and e-mail one on one just to let them know where they where shipping to. The cost is a bit expensive so when I ordered I ORDERED. The shipping cost initially was expensive but ordering more it made it worth while.

My Body lift kit, gloves, some Hi-Lift stuff, tow strap worked out to about $120.00 for shipping. Not really cheap but It was for stuff I wanted.

For transmission parts

I noticed that bulkpart.com ships out of the country. To them that might mean Canada or Mexico. There are some good threads here repairing automatic transmissions.

thanks for answers i see from all posts that i have to buy a K&N intake kit but what about the exhaust ?
