My back whipper not moving

06 Explorer, I cut the back wiper on and it does not move.
I hear a click. The water comes out..
With hearing a click every 5 sec does that mean the motor is working.
I did force it to move but it did not move..
Parts store sells motor for $125 and swap out $25..

There's a good chance the motor is bad, or the part that pivots is seized up. A fairly common problem. $125 is not too bad for a new motor.
