My Hood Sucks...

As You Know, I just bought my 1991 Explorer This Week and it has no major body problems except one...And that is that my hood is extremely damaged.

I cant pay for a whole paint job and also most of the car doesnt need it, but i can bang the dents out, after that im not sure whether it would be easier to pay somone or try to attempt to paint it myself.

Do You guys have any suggestions?

have you tried getting a new one from a junk yard

you could use a 89-90 Bronco II, 91-94 Explorer or a 89-92 ranger hood, if you got a local parts yard, you could get lucky and find one and maybe not even have to paint it. Wouldn't hurt to look.

Hood dents are a PIA. They " walk " a whole lot.
I would seek a junkyard. Beeing a 91 odd's are it is gonna be a bit beat up as well , but if it is better than what you alreeady have.
