Than why did you say, i put the hood liner back in,If you put the hoodliner in you negated all you did, water has to be a problem, good luck, nough said.MONMIX said:That would not make any sence, unless you have the ability to switch it your self.
I have had these in for over a month now in far more than my share of down pours. A bit more dirt on the motor ( shudder ) but mechanicaly, not an issue of of yet.

Nice lookin project
In your post #8, you said Functional hoodscoops, you installed aluminum screen to keep debris out.MONMIX said:I really dont understand what you are trying to ask.
I put the hood scoops in for aperance reasons only. Looks cool with the hood shut.
Hood open you can see the ugly underside of the hood.
I put the hood liner back on for that reason.
I will post when water becomes a problem.

MONMIX said:Oh, okay we have some fragmentation going on here.
When I said Functional I meant that air goes through them.
They are not just stick on.
I anticipated zero performance gains with this mod, it was an apperiance mod only, so the liner in my opinion negates nothing.
I meant a spring loaded door, unless you operate it your self, made no sence.
If I have any ideas as to how to keep the water out wile still maintaining air flow I'll let you know but for now I am stumped
