My latest modification

For my new job I have to carry a 28 foot and a 6 foot ladder. The factory rack that was on there wasn't going to work so I went to my friends fabrication shop and made a new stronger rack that will do the job until I buy a truck.

Looks good Joe! Did you bolt it to the roof?

Yeah its bolted to the roof with support beams on the interior of the explorer going to each mount. It is pretty strong I was standing on it when I was done and it held up my weight of 200lbs verry well. I will try and get some better pics, those were taken quickly right before it started raining. I'm pretty proud of it for being my first welding job
