My new 2016 Explorer Sport

Just picked up my Ex Sport this week. Arrived with a few scratches that my dealer took care of immediately. Only thing left to remedy is the rear driver's side access to the third row. The handle lever does not work on that side. Parts are on order. Now for the good.... Ford paid attention to the issues that were communicated on things like the control buttons. Vs. Touch screen, and placing that interior dash and door trim throughout 1st and 2nd rows, power third row stow, and better headlights. I paid $ 42000 before taxes for power liftgate,, BLIS, Navigation and rear bumper protector (improved). I will add some pics. What do you think about the price?

Nice…welcome to the sport club. You are going to love the ride/engine. .I notice in your picture the rims are not "sport" engraved like 2015 - curious.

You're right! My 2014 Sport had the Sport engraved wheels. I think Ford decided against engraving on the 2016 wheels. I miss the engraved wheels too. I also added the dee zee side rails today.

The reason for the engraving not there is so thatcher can put those rims on other trims.
Congrats on your new awesome explorer. I will be getting mine next year when my lease is up. I dont like that ford did not put the new sync 3 on the 16my its not fare that the early release my16 will not be able to up grade when the new sync 3 release on the later my17 explorer....ford thats not nice....!

Install should take 1.75 hours. 15 minutes to review instructions and get an idea of how it all works and 90 minutes to actually do it.
