Very nice car...Mustangs are the bomb!!! :D

Nice ride!! Now go visit Mustang Racing Technologies for the best aftermarket stuff for your car :) . Scott Hoag, who designed the Bullitt and the Mach 1 for Ford is the owner of MRT.

there's already a ton of aftermarket parts for the new stangs. i really like a lot of the body kits coming out.

you can take your car and add all kinds of body work and wheels at www.ponybuilder.com.

It is an AT. Had to get one becuase the wifey is going to be driving it too. ;) It hooks up great too. The wheels hardly break if at all when you launch it. Gonna be easy to make consistent runs. At least while it is still stock. LOL I don't want to break 13.5 though. If I do, then a roll cage is mandatory.

those are some nice wheels you picked out for her, do you need to have a roll cage to run 13.5 at your local track, or would you put one for safety?

That's a beautiful car. The mirrors are cool too. :D

Thats gorgeus.

The track we go to it is mandatory if you break 13.5s. They just changed it though, it used to be 14 flat. They gave us an extra half second. That is why I originally wanted a coupe. However, one of the conditions of me getting this car was that it had to be a vert. So said the wife. LOL Who am I to complain?

So whats the stats on the stang?

Here is a link to the specs. Unless you were talking about the quarter mile specs. I'd have to get the GTech from my friend to see it agian.

Mustang specs

OK, so I've done some calculating. So that 14.03 second quarter mile time was with a passenger in the vehicle. With the horsepower calculator, it came out to about 297hp at the flywheel. Now subtracting the weight of the passenger, to get it to read 297hp again, it says I should run the quarter in about 13.78 seconds.
The intake I am putting on with tune should boost that up to around 345hp. So if the calculations are correct, I should be running the quarter in about 13.11 seconds. Can't wait till March so I can take this beast to the track to get some solid numbers. Gonna have to remember to change the limiters though. Break 13.5 then I get kicked for not having a roll cage. :(
