First off, this site has helped me more than you know. And i appreciate all of the input everyone has given me. Got a new question,

Its a 00 sport and my rear window on the gate and my two rear windows above the rear tires leak. The side windows (avove the rear tires) only leak when i wash it, but the rear window leaks inside when it even rains hard? I checked the weatherstripping and it looks good, even pulled it down on the top and siliconed the top back in? But it still leaks? Is there a way to tighten the back window to the weatherstripping? And as for the side windows? What should i do?
Thanks Jersey

check with the local body shops in your area , maybe they have a cure for you,, it seems the seals around the windows are shot,, there is a glue for them,

The bubble test: I saw this one time on TV - you put carwash over the areas on and around the leaks, and you turn on the air in your vehicle to see what happens. That gives you a better idea of how and why it's leaking - then turn off the air and see what happens. This is if you are a do-it-yourself type...

Otherwise, you might need what Corkey said... go to the shop like me :)

i went in and had my windshield redone,, it wasn't much , ,

There is many threads on the side window leak issue. Just search for " side window leak"
You will find that under the trim panels there is mutiple clips that hold the window in. You may be able to solve your leak just by tightening these clips. If not you will need to remove the clips and push the window out, so that you can replace the seal. It is similar to the windshield seal. A black sticky, tar like rope.

And as for the rear? Any ideas?
Should i just replace the weatherstriping on the hatch window? Its not cracked or looks in bad shape.

Well, you'd wanna make sure that's the problem before you spend. Is this a DIY project?

Yes its a DIY, im asking is there a way to tighten the back window to the weather stripping or do i need new ones?

Man, I can't say... but I've not heard of a window coming loose unless it's one of the TSB recall issues. It would likely be, as mentioned above, a missing clip or something like that. If it were mine, and the parts only cost a few bucks, I'd just pop the new stripping and clips in there. But I'm just saying, that's what I'd do - and put armorall on it too.

Im talking about the hatch window thats also leaking.
