Only thing left to do is finish mounting hardware and build the hi-lift jack mount and shovel/ axe mounts.
I should have it done tomorrow night i'll post pics then

Enjoy!

I wish I had used 3/4 for mine. you have more mounting points too, what are the ones in the front? are they to coincide with the cross bar mounts?

those are for my 7" lights!

aaaaaaaaaahahahhahahahhahahahahah, sweet.

looks nice

that looks killer! i wish i had the means to build one of those.

If you were closer, I'd pay you to build me one for the Range Rover.

Nice! Where do you get your materials from? Online?

All my material is either scrap or drop from other jobs i build. I did have the corner pieces made for me though, from the machine shop down the road (they have a burn table) and that's where the $66 is from.

here are some more pics, it's all primered, jut waiting for a nice day to paint it since i decided against powder coat just to save some money. getting a few more lights for up front, and a couple for the back.

Looks great!

Looks great, nice work!
I was just going to post "Don't go cheap on paint" but it sounds like you already decided to.
Buy some extra cans of whatever you use so you can touch it up later (if needed) and it will match.

could I get close ups of the jack mont?

if you get bored and need extra cash you should make some more.i could use one on my sport.this weekend my friend and i built one for his nissan pathfinder but its no where near that nice

sorry i took so long... This is pretty simple as far as design. Just two 2"x5" 1/4" thick on end with half of some 4" square tube in the middle and a bolt through it welded on the back side.

I may make a few more of these when things get slow. I may just do "blanks" though, and not build mounting hardware. That way they can be mounted anyway to any rig or previous rack. I'm still figuring out a good mounting system.

Also got all my lights on and wired. (4) 7" up front with parking/ amber clearance lights. and (2) backup lights.

That looks killer, a nice paint job will even make it look better! Does the corners affect the handling at higher speeds? Have you noticed any difference? I took the front plexi glass shield off of mine cause it caused too much resistance at highway speeds. If you could make more of those, ship them to a JTsmith to powder coat, you could have a nice side bizz!

That thing looks good man :D
