heres my 2005 2wd trac. with the information im getting on this site i am going to start with a tt/shackle, the 18" raceline wheels came with the truck and i dont have the originals. i just noticed about a week ago that my front tires have worn down on the inner edge about 1" wide they are 255 65 18, seems like whoever had the track before me didnt consider the tire clearance before mounting them. i am going to find some inexpensive tires to mount after the tt to get by. i like the wheels and may keep them or possibly trade for some 15/16" with 33's. im putting a pic of the shackle thats mounted now to show how rusty it is.

that tire size equates to 31x10.25... you shouldn't have any clearance issues. that tire wear looks like an alignment issue. seems like a common issue with RBVs. Go to a high quality shop for your alignment after you do your torsion crank. make sure they check the camber cams on the top control arm, you may need newer ones installed. make sure they give you the print out for your alignment. tire guys are lazy.

there ARE tires available in 33x12.5r18... but you're looking at $300 a piece new.

15's are cheaper. 16's are available in every metric size under the sun. remember if you go with 15's, they need to be steel to clear the front caliper.

thank you for the info, i have been looking at these 15x7 steel wheels and wondering if they will work.

hoping i can put some bigger tires on these, they cost about 30$ each which gives me more to spend on tires. let me know what you guys think. should be ordering my shackles this afternoon and could possibly have my tt/shackle done by next week, also, correct me if im wrong but from what i have read so far i can clear the 33s with the tt/shackle lift right? i can go with a smaller tire if i have too. thanks again
