My trailer brake lights don't work.

i just got a 1992 ford ranger love it have one prob. trailer brake lights wont work. got t conecter for lights every thing works but brake lights. does it have seapret brake wire. thanks. :(

Do the flashers work, but not the brake lights? Or are the rear lights completely inop on the trailer? They use the same wire out to the lights, so this is a good way to narrow down the issue.

thanks lights on trailer or tail ,left turn, right turn. no flashers or brake lights
got to thing t plug for 1993 it has the sepertor built in may not need that. parts store said it would work. the T plug for 1992 would not fit the plug on the truck. thanks new at this Horse

Got to thanking on it took T. plug off. Wired it up old fashion way. good to go
1992 ranger does not have to have the brake & turn seaprater.Parts house tould me the 1993 T. plud would work (not).
