FWIW my friends driveway is steep enough that with just snow on the driveway he had to get a running start in a mustang with snow tires on to get up it. On my Xterrains i had no problems with the driveway completely iced over....untill i put it in park and walked away

In some city's yes...I don't live in the bush and have summer and winter half and half...
