There are plenty of lifts out there for you to buy for around 1000.00, but if money is a factor than you should go for the BL,

There is one option. TT and shackles/aal is only 2 inches, these combined with a BL will give max amount of 5 inches. This is one lift option, there are not "plenty" out there.

I like it. i would have gone w/ the 11.5 wide tires though. 12.5 looks a little to much but i like the thread pattern. keep up the good work

Premier and Nicaraguense, the phrase was said to be plenty, meaning pleanty of options. You do not have to stick with a single lift system or option. When I said for around a 1000.00, means option 1- you buy a 3" BL, shackles, tires and rims or stay stock rims, and shocks, you are looking at about 1000.00. You can buy individual parts from different lift kits to make your own and save money sometimes that way too. Be imaginative and search buy and sale threads and buy cheap. These members are selling all the time to you all and at a good price. Nicaraguense mentioned money being an issue, so help in that fact and give advice to him for money saving ways in creating a lift.

To all the other members with nice words about my creation, thanks, and as Hartman said, it is never finished. It just got started and no end in site.

Boominx

BoominX, you need to swap with 96, He's got your 2WD and you got his 4x4. Since you are just letting that front axle just rust. (i dunno you might have yours so low that you have to use the thing just to get over speed bumps and 4 low for pot holes) Personal opinion I think thats just a discrace to 4WD's. It gives us a bad name (I think) but anyways you guys hang on to all your stuff (mods) and swap trux. I think you'll have them in the right order then:D   :D
:bounce:

that looks incredible. good job.

Hartman, what year is your X? I looked at all those pics...and that is pretty tight man.

Nevermind. Think it is possible to drop a '91 XLT like that? I hear a lot of stuff saying that 1st Gen. X's are hard to drop and keep the ride smooth.

my transfer case is TRASHED. but if someone wants to trade everything strait up and THEY do the work im all for it.
