Navajo 4x4 Transmission Lifespan

Hi, I'm new to this. I have a '93 Navajo 4x4 with 185,000 miles and an auto tranny. I was wondering what a typical lifespan on this tranny would be. Thanks!

185,000 miles on the original trans? If so then I would consider yourself lucky because I would say you are way past the average lifespan. It's hard to give a number because it really depends on maintenance and how it's used etc. But the trans that you have is the A4LD which is considered a pretty poor trans, they do have to be rebuilt a lot. The A4LD is definitely the weak point in that drivetrain. So I would take care of that trans.
