Need a little help

Im looking at getting Cragar soft 8's but I can't decide what size to get

should I get these

15x8 5x4 1/2 4inch backspacing and -13mm offset
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CRR-3975812/

or these

15x7 5x4 1/2 4inch backspacing and 0mm offset.

Im leaning towards the 8 inch wide ones, because I don't want the tire sitting closer to the hub than stock. The only thing is I am not sure my tires will fit that rim. I am running stock size tires for now, but hopefully upgrade to 33x10-11.5(idk what width yet)

Ive tried searching, but I cant find what I am looking for. Thanks for any help

Anyone?

If you are going wider than stock, you want the 8-inch width. Many here run the 15x8 5 on 4.4, 3 and 3/4" backspacing or -6 mm offset. Some run tires as wide as 12.5" on stock 7" wheels. I run an 8-inch wheel on my 33x12.5 tires.

I dont think that an 8-inch wheel will have a problem with stock tires. Others with more experince than me.

This is some good reading.

Thanks for the reply. I actually read that thread, I am going to get the 15x8's but only if my stock tires will fit that width, because I don't want to buy wheels to find out I cant use them :( lol. I am pretty confident that they will fit, but, not 100%

Okay so I bought the 15x8's last night. Im excited and can't wait to put them on...

Something about new car parts always turns a man into a giddy schoolgirl, lol
