Need an opinion on these wheels

Found a set of 4 on craigslist. I had the same exact set on my old dune buggy and loved them, they where cleaned up and painted black but they got sold along with the dune buggy when I bought my motorcycle. They are the correct bolt pattern for my sport.

Do you guys think they would look good painted black on a white 99 X Sport?

I think they'd look alright. They kind of have an old skool buggy look to them. I think they would look really sweet if you could leave the spokes polished and paint the rest black, but that would be a HUGE pita on those wheels.

I've thought about doing that. It'll look cool, but its gonna take forever to tape off perfectly.

yeah, for sure. Maybe get them powder coated like that. They'll just spray the whole thing wih black then wipe off the part you don't want coated with a wet cloth.

get them sand blasted, than polish the spokes, and have Turdle powdercoat the in between parts,, maybe color match them to your sport ??

Oxford white.. that'd be cool.

on the front page there is an ad at the bottom for Turdles powder coating,or JT's, shoot him a pm and ask, he does great work, ,
