The front left suspension is squeaking VERY loudly. When i drive, or even sit and get out of the car. I think it has something to do w/ those d@mn rubber spacers. I tried putting WD-40 on anything that i thought might be causing the noise, but that didn't work.

Definetly sounds like rubber. I replaced all shocks about 15k ago.

Diagnosis: unkown.

As of right now i'm ashamed to even drive it's so loud.

Quite possibly Ball Joints. I know Frickea86's were very loud when his were going bad. Might want to have those checked out.

I have been told that my ball joints are bad. Originally they clunk and such, but no squeaking. Will they eventually cause squeaking like in my case?

Also, after searching, a lot of people have just slipped some grease in the rubber boot for a short fix. Would this work till i got some moogs?

It is to my understanding that to replace the upper ball joints you have to replace the whole control arm as one kit. Is this accurate or does moog or someone sell just the ball joints?

try greasing them first

Greasing them is just a coverup. Or a temporary fix. I'd look into getting them replaced as soon as you can. Yes, its correct that you must replace the entire control arm to replace the UPPER ball joints.

My ball joints started squeaking in this really cold weather. Took it to the shop and the mech. said"Ford will sell you some new ball joints or I can grease these for you." He poked a small hole in the rubber and used a grease gun fitting to fill it up & some penetrating oil to get it down into the joint. He then used some silicone to patch the hole in the rubber seal. The ball joints were not worn out just dry.

Is there a way to tell if they're worn out other than shaking the wheel?

Also, if this is my ball joints, will driving be dangerous?

it shoudent be dangerous just might be hard to keep it in a strait line

Is $107 a good price for the MOOG front upper control arm and ball joint from O'reily's?

Will leaving the ball joint alone for a while cause excess wear and tear on other parts?

I was just told that I need a lower ball joint on the passengers side. Is this something that is hard to replace, or should I let the shop do it? Any ideas what a fair price would be ?
