Need fast help on Tie rod fix!!!

I was in an accident yesturday and broke my drivers side tie rod. What am I gonna need to fix this. This is my daily driver and I need to get back on the road for school and work. What exactly do I need to fix this, should I just get a new inner and outer tie rod or can I try to unscrew the outer tie rod and use it? I know how to take off the outer tie rod but how do I go about taking the inner tie rod off? How hard is this process gonna be? I can get all the hardware from auto-zone to fix it but I wanted to check first. Thanks for your help.

You can reuse the outer one if it's still in good condition. Just go get yourself a new inner one, a new boot, and there's a tool specifically for removing the inner tie rod.
Just cut off the old boot(there should be a tube going into it from the center of the vehicle), and put in a wrench on the rack's teeth, you might have to turn the steering wheel a bit to make it easier. Then just wrench that puppy off.
For me I didn't use that tool, I just got a big crescent, cranked the wheel all the way to the driver's side, shoved in a wrench on the rack's teeth, and got it off.

I replaced my inner tie rods a few months ago and it isnt to hard. You're going to need a new tierod boot clamps, as the new tie rod won't come with the boot. Turn the wheel all the way to the left and use a big adjustable wrench to take it off. You may need a piece of pipe to break it loose and tighten it back up. If you don't have one already a chiltons or haynes manual can be a big help. You might also want to get a new outer tierod. You may have a hard time getting that broken piece out of it. Goodluck.
