need help with explorer sport

took my explorer 4wheeling a little today an with it in 4wheel high when you turn or start spinning the front is popping loud an u can feel it. what did i do it or is this normal never notice it doing this before

Check your u-joints maybe.

Were you on Pavement, or on dirt? A little popping from the front diff is normal while turning in 4WD.

If you're turning on a high-traction surface, you will get driveline bind-up. It's bad. If you're getting driveline bind-up, you should not be in 4wd, plain and simple.
