Need help with little problem

Ok does anyone know how to stop the stupid horn from beeping everytime the door is open or the interior lights are on? I have an 02 limited. Also this may be really stupid but is there a certin number of times i have to hit the unlock button or something to pop the backwindow. Now I know the button is in the back near the handle but sometimes when I go to close up the X the lights stay on as if a door was left open so after checking all of that I check that back window and it is open.

you have a bad door interlock switch. borrow a scan tool from o;rielly's, it will identify.they are part of door latch, so get ready with impact driver. Used to live on dirt road, your sympyoms are familiar, happened 4 times, only to fords, ( 91 t-bird, 98 windstar). I might be wrong but look there. deposit required for tool, but fully refunded

Beg to differ, but I saw one hooked to my vehicle (98 windstar) that actually tested EVERYTHING. washers squirted, wipers ran, lights switched on and off, doors locked windows up and down, radio, heater. looks for bad wiring or connwector, but will identify a switch also( shows as open connection). I'll get with the guy and see what brand it is. There are several scan tools out there. I definitely don't know everything, but I do know this to be true
