Suddenly no turn signals or hazard 4 ways. Checked fuses and there is no power at eather end of the fuse. There must be a relay but I can not find it? Thanks for your help.

fuse 10 & fuse 21?

I don't have a 1998 wiring diagram but my 2000 should be similar. Fuse 10 (7.5 amps) in the Cetral Junction Box receives power from the ignition switch and is hot when in "Run". Fuse 21 (15 amps) in the Central Juction Box receives power from the battery via fuse 1 (60 amps) in the battery junction box and is hot at all times. If your radio or power seats still work then fuse 1 is good. Are you certain you do not have battery voltage between fuse 21 and ground? I'm guessing that your turn/hazard flasher has gone bad.

Hi, THX and is the central junction box the panel on the side of the dash at the drivers door? Where is the flasher lacated? THX again

In the fuse panel on the side of the dash fuse 3 and 7 are dead. No power on eather side of the fuse. Where is the flasher located?

Does your wipers work? If not I'd check to see if there is a short in the multi-function stalk.

fuse 3 & fuse 7

Fuse 3 (7.5 amps) and fuse 7 (7.5 amps) in the central junction box both receive power from the multifunction switch and pass it to the trailer/camper adapter. Is it just your trailer turn signal/hazard lamps that don't work?

I understand that fuse 3 and 7 are for the trailer. Im just telling everyone what I have found so far. No power to fuse 3 and 7. Whipers work, high low beams work, raido and power seat works. Turn signals and Hazard flashers do not work on the truck at all. (Where is the turn and haz flasher located?)

Any one know where the turn and Haz flasher is located on a 1998 explorier sport 4x4 4.0sohc v6

flasher

The turn/hazard flasher looks like this:

It is located in the steering column area:

It connects to a 5 pin connector with light blue, white/red, black, red/white and orange/yellow wires attached to it. If you're agile you can probably see it without removing the lower instrument panel and shield by laying on your back with the back of your head next to the accelerator. I'm 63 and too old to try that anymore!

Thank you 2000 streetrod. Your help was very valuable. It turned out that a wire pulled out of the multi###tion switch. I just had a remote starter put in and they must have pulled on one to much. Thank you again. Foodman392003
