I ordered a remote start, alarm, and keyless entry combo and have some questions about the door locks. First of all I was wondering if a 91' Explorer has the reverse polarity door locks or the 5 wire type system. I found a post that says it's the 5 wire, but I looked on the Bulldog Security website and it says that most Fords are reverse polarity.
I think I'll just ask this for now so I know for sure what I'm dealing with. Thanks

The Bulldog site is correct. As a matter of fact, I have the Bulldog keyless entry system ($29.00) and it works like a charm!

Ok, so now do I need two relays for the door lock and unlock? And do I need relays for the starter wire, ignition, and 12 V constant wire or can the module handle the amperage with out the relays? The instructions say nothing about using relays for anything execpt the door locks so I'm assuming that the module is made for the amperage.

Well when I installed both of mine I didn't need any extra relays other than what was needed for the door lock/unlock.
