I have a great pair of Kelly's but I need to replace them soon because the tread is almost to the wear bar. I want to get some of those great looking, in my opinion, BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A's...or even the Mud Terrains, as long as I can make some use of them. Does anyone have an opinion on this? Also, my 93 Navajo has 15 inch wheels, did Ford offer any other wheel configurement in this year to Navajos or Sports?, and at all up until the 98 Sports (I think they have 16s?) And as always I am looking for some inexpensive way to make my Navajo higher of the ground, any suggestions on that. Thanks

Check in the 'Shocks, suspension, lift' forum. As far as I know, body lift is most inexpensive way to go.

I'd go with the BFG Long Trails. I have them and are VERY happy with them. They are quiet, but offer great traction on almost anything except deep stickey mud. I would go with the BFG's. Good luck!

Are the BFG Long Trails an all-season radial? Or are they All-Terrain?

Do they throw rocks?

The BFG Long Trails are all season tires, but in my poiint of view they are a bit mopre then that. I think they are pretty tough tires and would be great off road too. I have noticed some rocks tumbling in my wheel wells, but don't all tires do that? overall these are great tires for anything.

Goodyear Wrangler MT/R's

I just put on four MT/R's on my truck and took them off road for the first time yesterday. They did great climbing on loose rock and also going through a stream. As for durability it is supposed to have longer tread life with a new silicon polyemer and has reenforced Sidewalls.Everything I have read about the tire has been good and for a off road tire the are not all that noisy. as for looks I think they look cool with the tread extending much higher up the sidewall than most tires. As for price they are a bit higher having cost me $1,055 for five tires installed.

Tires

Hard to beat BFG All Terrains! Good for about 50K and the Triple-ply sidewall is a real lifesaver (literally) if you run rocky trails. They're pretty quiet and mild mannered on pavement. I don;t know much about the new A/T KO's, but I'll bet they're long lived and they have the tread up the sidewall look that Starsailor seems to like.

From what I know..$0.02..worth,..I like the KO's. Tread depth is 17, so it will last a while. *note: they do require rotation to keep them equal. Mine have a few miles on them and show very little wear. Most of the wear is from the sharp turns I make, but the triple-ply sidewall and hard outer tread hold up well compared to others.
