- 01 Ranger XLT RIP
I just put a new bumper, skid plate, and winch on the front of my 01 Ranger, and the stock t bars are way to soft for the extra weight. It's probably at least an extra 150 or so pounds.
Anyone who has switched out their t bars, what do you need, and how hard is it to DIY? Do you need the Ford tool or is this something I can rent/do without? Would the B bars be TOO stiff? My code on the door jamb says 1 K, I assume the K is for the rear, while the 1 is for the t bars. anyone know what the 1 means as far as t bar rates go? Thanks!
