Need Ranger Trans ID help Fast!! - BBR vs BAR

I just picked up a 97 4.0 2wd Ranger and the transmission is bad.

The case of the trans has the numbers (P97gt-7006 BBR)

I found a trans on CL from a 98 4.0 2wd with the case number (P97gt-7006 BAR)

Whats the difference?

Can I swap the BAR trans in for my BBR trans?

It seems like this is the best forum to get quick accurate answers so Thanks in advance.

Both should be a 5r55e

I have been searching and I can't come up with a definite answer if they can swapped straight over....

IIRC, the 97 has an extra sensor that 98 and later 5r's don't have....
