Need some info!!

The tranny in the 96 x has the following problem. It shifts fine no problems but when i attempt to go to passing gear or it down shift's i get a 2-3 second shudder,vibration then it is gone. It only happens when at crusing speed 40-60 miles an hour. Its just a short shudder and or vibration as it downshifts. Any ideas folks would be great.. thanks.

Mine just started doing that as well. About 60-65 mph.

You could be in need of a fluid change. When was the last time you had it changed??

Could be, but I'm afraid to now that it's acting up.
