Well, I believe that Ford never did put the IRS in the Ranger, I honestly couldn't tell you for sure. But, if that is the case I would imagine you could put on some shackles or Add-A-Leafs to raise the rear. For the Explorer the shackle p/n is WAR153. Also I don't know what kind of rear ends are offered in all the Rangers. Last I knew there was a 7.5" I think and the 8.8". If you're looking to put some larger tires on I'd recommend the 8.8 as it's a very solid axle. My friend dropped a 4.6L in his Ranger and he races it and has to rebuild his rear end every year. As for the front, I'm guessing you have IFS, which is easily lifted by cranking the torsion bars, just don't exceed 2" if you have 4wd. Then you will need an alignment. I'm sure this isn't possible any more but the older Explorers did have a Twin-Traction Beam setup and they were lifted with coil spacers in the front. Most likely you do not have that. Next up is the body lift. I believe that the body lift that Explorer drivers use is for the Ranger so you're in luck there. I don't know the p/n off hand but do a search and you're sure to find it. You could search up 5" lift for under 300. It has all the info. The front Dana 35s aren't the strongest axles in the world, but I think if you're only looking to clear 33s you'll be fine for the time being as long as you take it easy and the 8.8 can easily handle that. The 8.8 is used for even the light duty pickups. Heavy duty upgrades to the 9". So hopefully that sends you in the right direction.
