I have already done a search on how to install neon lights, but i don't know the best way to hook them up to the battery. Is there some kind of connector i can/need to buy?

take out your center console and wire them into the back of your cigarette lighter.
U should prolly put in a stonger fuse for the lighter in your fuse box, like 5 or 10 amps higher then the one thats already in there, or else itll keep popping.

Thats how i wired them anyway, im sure you could find plenty of 12v sources under the dash or in the center console. Or if your afraid to cut some wires u could always us the 4-slot thingy that plugs right into the cigarette lighter, but thats big and bulkly plus u cant use the lighter anymore.

bmxboy,
How do you go about hooking it up to the battery, what kind of physical connectors would i need? I am pretty handy with electronc stuff and have all necessary tools incl. meters and such. Should i use an inline fuse, what gauge wiring should i use?

i agree unless your goign to run about 40 neons just splice into the cig lighter and get your power there
