NEED HELP TROLL! ( or anyone else who knows, for that matter.) as it is gettin' closer to summer, im gettin' closer to having the funds for my charger. first, within the next month, im gonna put in a Comp Cams blower cam (fairly mild specs), have the stock heads ported, and freshen up everything in the top end. here's the question. why do chargers for 5.0 mustangs go for $2500 and go for $3500 for the X? whats the difference? is there something in the fuel system that has to be changed on the X that is fine on the stang? or does it have to do with the X's non-distributer ignition? im asking this becuase i see 94-95 stang chargers on E-bay all the time for 750-$1000. what would be involved in adapting one of these to a X? would it be too much trouble? im also gonna have a suplemental fuel pump, pressure regulator, and pressure guage. also, when i go to the blower im gonna go with the 24lb. injectors. any suggestions? pleez help!
