Ok I feel better now bieng from new York originally I won't whack
Yous people...:))) you c my love for the explorer has me bringing
Them back to life. Now that we all sat in therapy I feel we can
Move on in our relationship. But soon I will start venting about
My wonderful sync system and how 2 I say 2 modules have
Been changed already because of a beeping noise that drives
Me insane and climate control that has a mind of its own. But
Something I find weird when I put my iPhone on the cradle which
Hangs on the air vent the beeping begins and when I move the
Phone away it stops???? Weird so obviously my vent cradle
Is gone. Anybody having same problem??

Interesting. Sounds like a little interference going on.

It reminds me of folks with Sprint phones and how when they send/receive signal they make land line phones make this funky chattering noise.

But don't worry, those same signals going through your brain are perfectly healthy! :D

i want 2 thank every1 who send me a reply. im going to go with peterk9 sugguestion and have the grill painted. again thanks to every1

thanks

Hi Dave2. Welcome to the Forum. :wavey:
Your details don't show which model you have and there is nothing listed in your 'Vehicle Specs' either. Is your grill damaged? I doubt there are too many of these grills available in the 'used' market. If it isn't damaged and you are unsuccessful in finding one, you may want to consider having it painted. I believe there are some members who have done that.
In any case, best of luck in your quest.

Peter

im going ahead and having it painted. i have a frend that does RV's but said he will paint it for only $100. THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!:exp:

LOL.. Removing the Grills ain't that hard to do... I still gotta replace mine since it broke when the hood decided it wanted to close itself.... and slam down hard and cracked it :P

Someday i will. It's rather fun getting cut by it :)

The only way I can get mine to close is to slam it, and I've done it many times. Have you checked to see if you have clearance between the two?

Peter

lol, There is clearence.. It closes fine.. It's just it was cold out, i went inside for a minute or two to warm up, the dang hood shocks didn't hold it up, so it slammed down pretty hard :( No biggie, it'll be replaced someday. I've replaced it on a F150 before so Explorer is same basicly.

Beware of peterk9 u r reading what a k9 is typeing lol lol, just joking

Well, that must be one talanted K9.. Wish i had one who could read, type :P
