guess im doing this right

here it is with the new tires. its a start. i realy love dune jumping but the ones around here ar being developed. so much for that. was going to have a longtravel kit put on but changed mind. going with SAS D44 coilover with "cage" arms. anyone have an opinion on air shocks by fox or king?

YA! :ttiwwp:

sorry. computer is acting up. not taking files from camera right. Dont ask me - i run a construction crew not a computer.

Damn dude, that thing is SICK!

Welcome to Explorer Forum! I LOVE the sport tracs. Yours is real nice.

Welcome! Nice ride

respond to froader

in respond to froader - what kind of truck and year is johnston's? you say he put 36's on it and metioned the rear fiberglass fenders. I put 35's on it for about an hour and tore them off. it's not the rear i have problems with its the front. even with me 33's when i go jumping at the dunes they scrub. 35's did fine around town but if u really wheel your truck somethings gonna scrub. I just about ripped my E-brake cable off this last time. cranking torsion bars doesnt help nor would i ever do that, that just makes the ride stiff but the suspension still bottoms out the same

Looks like you need wheels with more back spacing. You have the fenders for it.;)

backspacin seems to be perfect. im running 16x9 rims. any more or less and the would hit the sway bar or chew up the e-brake cable more. hte 2 majior diff between our two trucks is i jump my truck. regular wheeling off road it doesnt hit. the other is he has a 3inch body lift and cranked torsion bars. i think his truck is awsome but i dont believe in torsion cranking or body lifts. stay tuned- i just found a d44 - you'll see the badest multipurpose sport trac.

just found out what u meant by the biggest mod to your truck - a new baby. good luck on future mods. I've got a 5yr old and for better or worst she now takes all my time and money. weekend projects now take a month.
