Hello all, looks like this is a great site  to get some info on my 98 XLT. Ive had it for 4 yrs now and Ive noticed here lately that when I turn and hit a bump or something the the truck want to rock side to side pretty good now. I just bought some new shocks and need to put them on this week, but is there anything else I need to look at while I have it up on the rack? the truck is all stock right now and about to do some minor mods to it, nothing really big, (wifes truck). Thanks for any help.

Leeeemooooooooooreeeee. I'm in visalia.
I'd just give everything a quick look over. Check the swaybar links.

Welcome to the site, yeah it sounds like you already have the shocks so see if that works out for ya and check the swaybar links like Fusion said, Good Luck!

Welcome to the site.. Check your sway bars, I believe the recall for broken end links effected 98, but I'm not 100% sure on that. Also check your front suspension components.

Thanks all. I should have this thing in the air one day this week and see whats going on under there. Im going to try the helper springs and the shocks, if that doesnt help then may check into a sway bar up grade, any good ideas on sway bar upgrades? or maybe even upgrade on springs?

Where are the good place to 4xwheel around in this area, just got to Lemoore not too long ago, so far this has not become one of my favorites, lol.

Thanks again all. :banghead:
