i already have a KKM, but this looks pretty cool. i might contact this guy to see if i can just get the chrome tubing - i get the impression that its just a guy who builds them as a hobby/side business.

If you find out a price on the chrome plated aluminum tube and mounting hardware, let us know. I would be interested in putting it on my '97 Sport if the price is reasonable.

Here is some information on the Sport Trac/Explorer intake.

Ford Explorer/Sport Trac V6 4.0L SOHC Intake System

These are brand new intakes for the V6 SOHC 4.0L Ford Explorers (1997-up) and Sport Tracs. It is a complete and easy bolt on kit. Can be installed in less than an hour with simple hand tools. It looks really nice and sounds pretty mean.
Included in this kit:

Chrome plated aluminum intake pipe.
Aluminum mass air flow meter adapter.
K&N style cone air filter.
All hoses and connections (red or blue).
Mounting brackets and hose clamps.
10-15 Horsepower increased performance!!!
