03 Explorer Eddie Bauer
Hi, I'm Brittany. I have a 2003 Explorer Eddie Bauer Edition, 4.0L RWD....no sunroof.. and a 2005 F150 FX4 5.4L with sunroof... I own a repair shop, and I have great resources at hands.. BUT....

I've got a giant concern with Persephone the Explorer.

So... Here's the facts. Two nights ago, she overheated on me. I had been in a drive through line for about 20min, no issue. Go to get on the interstate, and she overheats. Heat on, doing 70mph and she cooled down. She was low on coolant - took 3/4 of a gallon at the next exit. Fine. She keeps trying to overheat the whole way home, and each time I drove yesterday. What we didn't notice until last night was the headliner is soaked above driver and passenger seats and it feels like hot water or coolant.

According to ProDemand, rear heater core and hoses are in the rear side wall.

I've already determined that, OBVIOUSLY, I have a slow coolant leak.. but wtf.

Can I get some help with this??
