Hi, 2006 Ranger owned it one week, noticed that the anti-theft icon blinks when truck is off. Is than normal? Love the truck, rather have a v8 than a 6.

I think that just means the alarm is engaged. Kind of a warning to the blood thirsty hordes looking to steal your car.

When the ignition is in the 2 (LOCK) position, the indicator will flash once every
2 seconds to indicate the SecuriLock system is functioning as a theft deterrent.
