New Member have small problem

Hi to all. I have 2006 XLT, engine makes loud noise like trying to suck air or something, almost sounds like jet engine at times. I've done some reading and believe it is the IAC valve...

Have any of you heard of this problem and can you tell me where on the intake is this part located on an 06 and what it looks like. I've seen pics on older models but can't locate it on mine.

I have an 06XLT that whenever I step on the gas lightly or turn off the a/c I hear a loud hissing sound. similar?
