I bought a new fuel filter for my 93 xlt explorer and can't figure out what tool is needed to remove the old one. Really don't want to cut it off so please help if can.
On a side note I really like the site as I love my explorer...

welcome...i beleive you can use a little screwdriver if you have the clips on it...i reach behind and push the 2 tabs forward enough to get the screwdriver in and then pull it off...this goes for each clip and start with the one thats easiest to see...glasses are a good idea to help from spraying gas...
any more help needed post this question in under the hood....i hope you enjoy it here, good luck
