New member with Explorer & Ranger with a problem

Ive been lurking around this site for a while. I have a 93 Explorer with 208,000 miles still going. I have 92 ranger with 195,000 miles


The problem I'm having is with my ranger. Its a 2.3L 4cyl automatic. The transmission apparently has died. I can't go forward or reverse in with the gear selector in any position. Looks like I need a rebuild on a transmission. I think I'm gonna tackle that myself but I don't know if the truck is worth a rebuild or not.
