I'm a new member here to find a few answers,hopefully, to a few small problems with my 'Sploder' as my sons call it, they both own "scrapers" (low riders)... I have a 99 Black XLT, 4 dr. 5.0 w/awd, 114k miles, in overall good condition.
1. I changed out the dash gauges and in doing so the gear selecter is no longer lined up with the right gear so that when it's in Park it looks like it's in Reverse and so on.

2. The rear wiper only works randomly (seldomly when I need it)...

Welcome to the forum-
If you look under the steering column-you'll see a string with a thumb wheel adjuster-
this is the gear indicator cable-and it can be adjusted-
The loop on the end may have come disconnected-

For the rear wiper-check the relays.
It may be a problem in the motor also
