just curious if people actually read what's in this section or if they just click and post one word. Our new member section is like a hot chick walking onto the dance floor. Everybody rushes to holla, but nothing constructive comes from it.
Welcome to this forum (7 years later). This section is for people just joining the site, and need help on which section to post their questions. A lot of people think it's worthless, but you'll be surprised how many people are clueless since they have never been on any other forum. Some threads get moved to the appropriate section. Some peope learn how to do their own repairs for the first time just from a simple answer from somebody trying to help them out. Nobody knows everything right away. We're all here to help each other out.
I'm aware of that, I do my best to be a constructive member on here. I was just venting a little, probably not my place to do it. I just see a race for people to say hi and don't even attempt to help that new member's questions asked in the new post.
I'm not saying it's you by any means. I would definitely say you are a great ambassador to this site.

ark! What is this which hushes the crowd?
A sound of silence amid the noise;
The sweep of pause through the plaudits loud --
A moment, a stillness, a start, a stir --
The great heart of multitude
Holding its breath as it waits for him,
One being in all the crowd.
